Bike for Mike and the Hamilton Music Collective Present the 12th annual Mike Ride: Music and Motion
Join us at Collective Arts Brewing on May 1, 2022!
Details are available on the registration page
Why Music and Motion?
Since the first Bike for Mike event 12 years ago, our mission has been to help youth achieve optimal physical, mental, and social wellbeing. There’s a term that includes all of these aspects of our health: Brain Health. A healthy brain helps a child take on the world. When their brain is healthy, they are better equipped to learn new things, form strong relationships, and deal with life’s challenges. Engaging in music and participating in physical activity are proven ways to foster good brain health, which is why Music and Motion is so important to us.
How the event works:
- Register to ride one of 5 different routes, either as an individual, on a team, or on a MusicCycle.
- Donate and/or pledge to fundraise for your ride.
- Invite your friends, family, coworkers to ride.
- Meet us at Collective Arts Brewing on Sunday, May 1, 2022 for a day of cycling and musical fun.
New this year: MusicCycles
Introducing MusicCycles: the embodiment of Music and Motion. A MusicCycle is a bicycle (or unicycle, or tricycle…) that plays live music. Join the 5km Family Ride to ride with them! Or if you’re up to it, enter your own MusicCycle to show us what Music and Motion means to you. Visit the registration page to learn more.
What are we fundraising for?
Funds raised at the Mike Ride will support the respective youth programming efforts of Bike for Mike and the Hamilton Music Collective.
